Round 3 already

Here it is already, round 3 as of May 26, 2008.  Things were slowed up by rain but progress is great none the less.

Up to Round Two

Great progress at May 20, 2008 - the SECOND round of logs.   We can almost visualize sitting on the porch sipping a cold one looking out at the horses....

First round of logs - the house is born

Here is the first log round (of 8) at the building yard.  Such beautiful logs!!

On to a busy April 2008!  With these babies we're only going to need a wall 8 logs high instead of the planned 10.

March 31, 2008 - Logs arrive

Here is the log house at step 1 - the logs have arrived and are getting stacked.  The date that the journey  starts is Monday March 31, 2008.   The white pine logs arrive at Ronn Hann's yard in Goulais River from south of Sudbury near Killarney provincial park, where they were cut to make way for widening highway 69/400.
